Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Endorse the engineering studies including preparatory works like review of Material Take Off, E/I/T equipment /cable lists and identify all materials to be installed offshore

  • Participate actively to identification of offshore SOW, assist engineering team to develop cable routing and minimize offshore works.

  • Develop Hook-up methodology by involving specialists and get it validated by Hook-up Manager.

  • Coordinate with engineering team to ensure that detail design is considering Hook-up methodology.

  • Coordinate with engineering team to ensure that proper inputs related to the Hook-up execution plan are considered.

  • Consider the interface with other Contractors and identify assistance to be provided.

  • Coordinate with Commissioning manager to identify required assistance and ensure job card correspondence.

  • Participate to the preparation of the hook-up Schedule.

  • Support the preparation, the progress and the issuance of all hook-up documentation part of Hook-up MDR.

  • Review the preparation of job cards by HU S/C and identify gaps if any

  • Verify incorporated equipment POs, special tools & spares and shipments with the Procurement department from Purchase Order stage until final delivery on site (yard or directly offshore).

  • Review the HU S/C execution schedule for the offshore works with assistance of project HU planner, Hook-up & commissioning Managers

  • Relation / interface with client / HU S/C off-shore in his discipline

  • Support preparations of transport and storage of all materials to be installed offshore

  • Support with technical inputs the Relation & interface with COMPANY

  • Follow pre-installations of electrical / instrumentation & Telecoms equipment / cables at Fabrication yards.

  • Establish list of carry-over work and track required additional job-cards.

  • Coordinate with HU S/C mobilization / demobilization of materials and equipment required.

  • Follow-up and Coordination of offshore works including Pre-commissioning

  • Follow-up and tracks for all disciplines all hook-up points (including carry-over from Yard) through he hook-up register.

  • Support the site activities including Pre-com / com

  • Hook-up engineering DPR and other progress reports


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas
  • Former experience as electrical and/or instrumentation and/or telecom onshore and/or offshore (Engineering stage and site work)
  • Experience in pre-commissioning, completion & acceptance activities.
  • Experience in leading of Subcontractor
