Main Roles and Responsibilities

Perform riser configuration design analysis and subsea installation engineering analysis mainly related to the flexible pipeline and umbilical installation techniques, subsea structures lift and deployment to seabed including but not limited to:

  • Analysis of riser and dynamic umbilical systems installation activities

  • Analysis for various subsea structure installation activities

  • Perform configuration design analysis for riser system

  • Interface with project team

  • Provide support to on-going offshore installation activities

  • Write technical project documents (eg. installation laytables and analysis reports)

  • Perform peer review and checks of installation analysis work and reports

  • Liaise with project teams to obtain input data, agreeing installation feasibility and providing technical support in client reviews

  • Liaise with project teams and clients to clarify installation analysis concerns

  • Consolidate experience within the Riser, Installation Analysis and Umbilical discipline

  • Report progress to Riser, Installation Analysis and Umbilical discipline manager and advising required resource adjustments

  • Mentor and nurture junior installation analysis engineers

Manage internal study projects as assigned

Requirements

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge


Professional qualifications: Degree qualified or above

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in offshore installation related activities

  • Competency in design and analysis software (i.e. ORCAFLEX) is essential

  • Good knowledge of industry standards

Can work to deadlines set by management

Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role Produces work of presentable quality

Ability to prioritise and organise work

Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization A demonstrable commitment to HSE and Quality

Shall be self-motivated and have well developed interpersonal skills
